I’m a content writer and web editor who steals time to be a poet when I can. Originally from Colorado, USA, I have lived and worked in Crimea, Hanoi, Minneapolis, and Beijing. I live in the north Denver suburbs with my partner, kids, pets, and trees. I earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Minnesota and a BA in English Education with a minor in Russian from Colorado State University.

- In news and entertainment media, I edited news articles and website copy for a major online news agency in Beijing; and wrote community interest articles and interviews for publication in two lifestyle magazines in Hanoi.
